The HER Lab
We design and study community health service models that work, rethinking how, where, and with whom care happens so people can actually use it, trust it, and benefit in their real lives.
We work alongside communities to support, resource, and elevate what is already working, demonstrating value and documenting impact and legacy.
Our work focuses on improving access, strengthening engagement, and supporting thriving outcomes through real-world, community-based approaches.
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Omolola (Lola) Adeoye-Olatunde, HER Lab is an innovative community-engaged research collaboratory within Purdue University’s Center for Health Excellence, Quality and Innovation.
