Substance use crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

We are taking a community-engaged approach to co-developing a digital solution and decision support system addressing the youth substance use crisis in Aru, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The project’s first phase includes understanding the current context by identifying (i) important individuals and groups in providing early intervention and basic training to at-risk youths and (ii) how different individuals and groups interact. This will help set the foundation for developing the digital solution. We are still in the pre-implementation phase, so check for more updates!

Hypertension in Nigeria

We are teaming up with mDoc to evaluate the impact of their coach-led digital self-care platform on blood pressure management among people living with hypertension in Nigeria. mDoc is a digital health social enterprise aiming to dramatically reduce the chronic disease burden in sub-Saharan Africa by providing integrated care support through mobile and web platforms to people living with chronic disease. We are still in the evaluation design phase, so check for more updates!
