Dr. Omolola (Lola) Adeoye-Olatunde (Pronunciation available on LinkedIn) is a pharmacist by training and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University College of Pharmacy. She serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Evaluation for the Purdue University Center for Health Excellence , Quality and Innovation (CHEQI) and Co-Director of the Community Health Workforce Development Institute. Dr. Adeoye-Olatunde earned her BS in Biology from Morgan State University, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University and an MS in Health Services, Outcomes, and Policy from Purdue University. She completed a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) community-based residency at Kroger Pharmacy, followed by a Community Practice Research Fellowship at Purdue University.

She initially sparked an interest in healthcare accessibility while working as a pharmacy technician at her Nigerian immigrant father’s innovative, independently-owned community pharmacy. Dr. Adeoye-Olatunde continues to advance healthcare accessibility as Director of the HER Lab. Her work has received local and national recognition, including the Bowl of Hygeia Award for her outstanding record of civic leadership, selection as an NIH Health Disparities Research Institute Scholar, Purdue University Societal Impact Fellow, AcademyHealth Alice S. Hersh Emerging Leader Award, recognition as a Top 40 Under 40 Health Leader, and the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (JACCP) Editor’s Choice.
